Released last week, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is a fantasy role-playing game that has the player and a party comprising an elf, a human, a dwarf and a very dapper lizard pursue and defeat a bishop.

This week, Larian Studios reaches an impressive 2 month milestone and surprises us with a special advent calendar. While some players continue playing the DOS2 story, others are creating their own unique stories and sharing them with the DOS2 community through the Game Master mode.Video Content Divinity: Original 4Gb Patch Trailer by KolFoxyKolFoxy creates a trailer showcasing some weird bugs that resulted from the big 4GB patch that was supposed to fix numerous other bugs. This is definitely not a type of video I would expect to see, but it’s worth a watch for some of the weirdest bugs I’ve ever seen in a video game.
Game Master Mode Top things learned doing GM mode by gett-ittWhile I discovered some of these tricks while hosting a GM session for my own group, there are still things I learned from gett-itt. I was most surprised to find out that the Game Master can write text within in-game books and leave them for players to find. The Wrath of Mada and Moar: A Game Master Campaign by GagginI haven’t seen many posts from Game Masters willing to showcase their homemade campaigns with the DOS2 community. I was surprised to see that Reddit user Gaggin has recruited four other DOS2 community members to do just that. While there is a long waiting list, Gaggin is still taking names of anyone else who is interested.Larian Studios Divinity: Original Sin 2 has sold 1 million copiesLarian Studios was excited to share the good news with their own variant of the classic Boromir meme. Each comic showcases the adventures and shenanigans of the characters in a DOS2 Game Master Campaign. Within each comic is a 3-digit code that can be used to unlock exclusive DOS2 content. The only catch is that you only have 24 hours before each daily unlock is gone forever.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Main Theme (Piano cover) by the Human Cordthe Human Cord does a PHENOMENAL job with their cover of the DOS2 main theme. Personally, I love causing these explosive reaction effects and watch them with more awe than fear. It’s especially difficult when playing in a four-player party. Kassent’s mod removes this issue by making all party members utilize the highest Barter skill among them. No more sending of all items to weigh down one player.Guides Ultimate All Elements Mage Build by RPG DivisionRPG Division continues to create unique character builds with his build that utilizes abilities from all elemental schools. I myself can’t imagine comprehending the use of more than two, but RPG Division succeeds in utilizing them all. Ultimate Medusa Geo Build by RPG DivisionGeomancy skills often seem to take a backseat to most other schools of elemental magic with fire, water, and air being more “flashy.” RPG Division’s latest character build is built around the “Medusa’s Head” skill and utilizes many other Geomancy skills. Zyocuh’s Build Guides by zyocuhZyocuh showcases four easy to follow and replicate builds.

CompanionsCompanions in are aides that you can use in combat throughout your journey. There are 4 main Companions that you can recruit in. These NPCs have stories of their own which will turn into as you progress into the game.You can have up to 2 Companions in your party at any given time. However, if you picked a for your character, that character cannot have any companions.
If both your starting characters have, then you will not be able to have any Companions or Heroes to aid you.When you ask Companions to leave you, they will return to the Hall of Heroes in, or if you haven't yet unlocked it - the King Crab Tavern in. You can also hire more Heroes in the Hall of Heroes if you require.
To dismiss a party member, talk to them and ask them to leave the party for now. All party members have personal quests, that grant - you should have the member in your party to learn about the quest and then to complete it. A Thieving RogueHenchmenHenchmen are also available for hire to fill our your party. They can be purchased from John Smythn in the Hall of Heroes.
