Windows Hello Your Credentials Could Not Be Verified

I set the WMP as the default for both music and videos. Go back to the settings page, your music player is now in the list.I haven’t tested further, but I assume it will work for picture viewers and other apps. When I played videos, they opened in WMP, as expected. I downloaded Windows 10 a few days ago, and it worked mostly okay. How to make winamp default player.

Hello

Hi Folks,No intrusive/blocking software except Microsoft provided native, and I have tried dropping all these protections with no effect. I am sure this is a permissions problem, and there are many small hints in the logs which point to minor replication /DNS problems that I can't quite diagnose and eliminate.

I set up Windows Hello with facial recognition and PIN a few days ago. It worked a few times and then just. Stopped working. If I use the camera, it seems to recognize me but then goes back to the login screen with a message 'Credentials could not be verified.' If I use the PIN, it says 'There are no logon servers available to service the.

So, I am attacking the direct failure head-on and all the error messages in the logs in a much broader style.I suspect that the 2003 DC does not have a certificate, but I can't be sure since I don't know how to test this. I BELIEVE that the 2008 DC will auto-enroll the 2003 DC, at least this is what I want to happen in the interim while I try to create thenecessary Domain Controller Certificate for the 2003 DC, but I can't prove it. I also can't find any direct proof in the logs that the problem is authentication/certificate of the Domain Controllers, and not some stupid misconfiguration like listening on theloop-back interface (which is also indicated in the logs but not evident in the slightest way in any configuration dialog or registry entry I can find.)Anyway, on to the problem at hand. It is quite straight forward.I can prove that the username/password is valid, so this failure I am experiencing is more subtle than invalid credentials. The server is not complaining that the credentials are wrong, but that the server is not able to reach any conclusionabout them at all. Thanks for the help,Chris.

Windows 10 Hello For Business Your Credentials Could Not Be Verified

Hi Folks, I have found and fixed the causes of all logged errors and I believe there are no connectivity/replication/authentication/certificate errors now, according to DCDIAG and any number of specific tests.I still get the error, 'The credentials could not be verified.' As a diagnostic, I tried a bunch of credentials and of course 'Administrator' worked as did one other non-administrator. I used ADUC to make the failing username identical to the succeedingusername.

Cac Credentials Cannot Be Verified

No luck. Therefore there is a group policy that mentions one and not the other. How do I find this? So now I'm interested to determine why that one credential works. Is there any global user report where I could see all permissions and policy exceptions for a givenuser? Thanks for the help,Chris.
